Yaya, Kolo Toure to remain at World Cup

Ivory Coast duo Yaya and Kolo Toure are to remain at the World Cup following the death of their younger brother earlier this week.

Yaya and Kolo Toure have opted to remain with Ivory Coast at the World Cup in Brazil following the death of their younger brother.

It was announced on Friday that Ibrahim Toure, who had been battling cancer, had passed away at the age of 28.

The Ivorian Football Federation (IFF) have now confirmed earlier reports that The Elephants duo will stay in Brazil.

"The Toure brothers have decided to stay with the team. They are not leaving Brazil," an IFF representative is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

Ivory Coast take on Greece on Tuesday knowing that victory will seal their passage into the next round.
