Marco Parolo scored a late free kick as Lazio fought back to earn a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona in Serie A this afternoon.
The visitors thought that they had taken the lead in the fourth minute when Filip Djordjevic turned in Ricardo Kishna's corner, but his effort was ruled out for a foul inside the box.

Lazio threatened again as Kishna fired over the bar from long range, beore Felipe Anderson drilled a strike inches wide.
However, it was Verona who took the lead in the 33rd minute as Filip Helander nodded in from close range, after Juanito's volley had crashed against the bar.
At the start of the second half Anderson came close to grabbing a goal for the visitors, but his curling effort from the edge of the box deflected narrowly wide.

Keita Balde Diao was then brought on by Lazio just past the hour mark and he made an immediate impact by winning his team a penalty after being bundled over inside the box by Jacopo Sala.
Lucas Biglia took the resulting spot kick and he held his nerve with a composed effort that sent Rafael the wrong way.
Lazio then suffered a blow when Mauricio was sent off for picking up a second yellow card, but with just four minutes of the game remaining they snatched the points, as Parolo crashed a low free kick into the bottom corner that left the keeper helpless.
