John Aldridge: 'Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge can fire Liverpool to Champions League'

Liverpool legend John Aldridge thinks that Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge's goals will propel the Reds to the Champions League.

Liverpool legend John Aldridge believes that Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge's strike partnership is the key to the club finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

The duo have racked up 32 league goals between them this season, and the former striker has said that the 'SAS' can fire the Reds to glory this campaign.

Aldridge wrote in his Liverpool Echo column: "If Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez stay fit between now and May Liverpool will have a wonderful chance of finishing in the top four.

"We're lucky to have two strikers who are so prolific in front of goal. It means we have the ability to win games even when we're not at our best.

"Over the past few months teams have been putting men on Suarez thinking if they stop him they stop Liverpool. But what are they going to do now? We have two frontmen who strike fear into defenders and cause havoc."

Both Suarez and Sturridge were on target as the Reds beat Stoke City 5-3 on Sunday.
