Anzhi Makhachkala manager Guus Hiddink will reportedly pay tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy ahead of the Russian side's Europa League encounter with Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow.
Anzhi will fly to Merseyside today and Hiddink, along with Roberto Carlos and Samuel Eto'o, is expected to lay flowers at the Hillsborough memorial after their training session at Anfield, according to The Express.
The families of the 96 Liverpool fans who died in a crush at the Hillsborough Stadium in 1989 during an FA Cup semi-final between the Reds and Nottingham Forest discovered last month that the South Yorkshire police had fabricated statements to try to deflect blame onto the supporters, despite the disaster being caused by police incompetence.
The Football Association have since been criticised by members of Parliament for allowing the match to go ahead in a stadium that wasn't safe.
