Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has emerged as a reported transfer target for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
The Gunners are believed to be willing to allow the 24-year-old to leave the Emirates Stadium for a fee in the region of £12m.
That figure would be no problem for Anzhi, whose owners have funded recent deals for the likes of Samuel Eto'o and Christopher Samba.
Coach Guus Hiddink is looking to acquire a striking partner for Eto'o and has identified Danish international Bendtner as the ideal candidate, according to The People.
Bendtner spent last season on loan with Sunderland.
