Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he was "proud" of the way that his Liverpool players performed during their League Cup semi-final clash away at Stoke City this evening.
The Reds headed into the clash at the Britannia Stadium on the back of a 2-0 defeat away at West Ham United.
However, thanks to substitute Jordon Ibe, the Reds provided the "perfect reaction" to that loss at Upton Park by recording a 1-0 win in the Potteries.
"It's a strange feeling. I'm proud as it was a perfect reaction from the last game," the German boss told reporters.
"You saw it was a special game. A good game - lively and aggressive."
The 1-0 victory was the third time that Liverpool have won by that margin in their last four outings.
