Liverpool defender Glen Johnson calls on his teammates to move on from their defeat to Aston Villa and focus on the next challenge.

Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has insisted that his side need to look to the next challenge after losing to Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Merseyside outfit have slipped back down to 12th in the Premier League table following their 3-1 defeat at Anfield just a day after manager Brendan Rodgers claimed that his side should be aiming higher than fourth place.

"There was no extra pressure because we all believe that as well," the Irish Independent quotes Johnson as saying. "We all felt the same.

"It was a great opportunity to get three more points but we have a lot of games coming up, so we have a few days to reflect on this and put it behind us and get ready for the game next week."

Liverpool host Fulham at Anfield next Saturday.
