Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe is targeting making his mark on the first team next season.
The 17-year-old has made one senior start for the Reds that came in their 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on the final day of last season.
Ibe, who scored in Saturday's 4-0 triumph at Preston North End, wants more action with the full squad next term.
"Hopefully I can be consistent and play well, so hopefully I can get a chance again in the first team," Ibe told the club's official website.
"When I play, hopefully I can get a goal and help the squad do well this season. I'm just learning from the first-team players and trying to show that until the season starts. Hopefully I can do well.
"I'm learning a lot, especially with defending. The gaffer is helping me a lot with when I haven't got the ball, coming to tuck in and watching the full-back and centre-back; knowing what to do when I haven't got the ball."
Ibe has been training with the first team since pre-season training resumed at the start of the month.
