Former Manchester City star Rodney Marsh has claimed that Raheem Sterling will leave Liverpool within the "next two years".
Sterling has emerged as a key member of the Reds' squad this calendar year, and the 19-year-old is reportedly on the verge of a new contract at Anfield.
However, speaking to talkSPORT, Marsh said that he thinks Sterling will move to another club if he continues his rapid ascent.
"I know I am going to get pelted by Liverpool supporters but I don't see Raheem Sterling being a Liverpool player in the next two years," said Marsh.
"I think he will leave Liverpool and go to a really top club. I think Sterling is so good, and if he is playing with the right players, at the right level, he could go on to be a top, super player."
Sterling has scored two goals for Brendan Rodgers's side this season.
