Pele tips Liverpool to win Premier League

Brazil legend Pele says that he is tipping Liverpool to end their wait for a Premier League title this season.

Pele has predicted that Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino will help Liverpool to the Premier League title this season.

Liverpool only finished in fourth place during the last campaign as Manchester City eased to the top-flight crown, but Pele is tipping the Merseyside giants to topple Pep Guardiola's side.

The Brazil legend has also suggested that the summer arrival of goalkeeper Alisson and the efforts of versatile forward Firmino could prove key for Jurgen Klopp's team.

Liverpool have only finished in the top two of the Premier League on two occasions over the past decade, while the club have not won the league title since 1990.

The North-West outfit play host to West Ham United in their opening fixture on Sunday afternoon.
