Brendan Rodgers hails "incredible" Liverpool display

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers hails his team's performance following their 5-1 win against Arsenal in the Premier League.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers hailed his side's "incredible" display as they beat Arsenal 5-1 at Anfield.

The Reds raced into a 4-0 lead at half time thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge and a double from Martin Skrtel.

Sterling added his second after the restart before Mikel Arteta scored a penalty for the visitors, and the Reds boss was full of praise for his players.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Rodgers said: "It was an incredible performance and it's not the first time we've been outstanding at home.

"Arsenal are obviously an outstanding team but our intensity, our organisation and our pressing was fantastic. When we press well, we pass well.

"It really was an amazing performance against an outstanding side."

The Reds are currently fourth in the Premier League.
