Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Liverpool should welcome a couple of their big-hitters back to the starting lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp surprisingly handed a start to Divock Origi in Wednesday's Champions League win over AC Milan, but the Belgian striker is sure to make way for Sadio Mane here after being taken off with cramp.

The Senegal international netted both of his side's goals in a 2-0 win over Palace on the final day of the 2020-21 Premier League season and will endeavour to score against the Eagles for the ninth Premier League game in a row this weekend.

Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah are set to hold their places alongside Mane, with Roberto Firmino yet to recover from a hamstring injury.

Harvey Elliott begins the long road to recovery after undergoing surgery on a serious ankle injury, with Jordan Henderson taking over from his stricken compatriot and set to start alongside Fabinho once more.

Naby Keita was given the nod in the final midfield spot against Milan but could make way for Thiago Alcantara here, while James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are other midfield options for Klopp.

Joe Gomez and Joel Matip formed the centre-back pairing in midweek, but one man is sure to be demoted as Virgil van Dijk returns, with Gomez expected to drop back down to the bench.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Mane
