Brazilian midfielder Fabinho insists that he is not looking for a move away from Liverpool.

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has insisted that he is not looking for a move away from Liverpool.

Fabinho only joined Liverpool from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco during the summer transfer window, with the midfielder costing the Reds in the region of £40m.

The 25-year-old made a slow start to his career at Anfield but has now played the last six Premier League games for the Merseyside club.

AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have both been credited with an interest, though, amid suggestions that the midfielder is unsettled in England.

Fabinho, however, has insisted that he is looking for a move away from Anfield.

"I was told there was something in the press, but I never said I would like to leave Liverpool," Fabinho told UOL. "I was aware that I needed to have the patience to wait for my moment, but I'm happy at Liverpool - there's no reason for me to leave."

Fabinho played over 230 times for Monaco before joining Liverpool ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
