Liverpool to offload Mario Balotelli to Chinese Super League club?

Liverpool are reportedly ready to offload Mario Balotelli, with a lucrative transfer to the Chinese Super League on the cards.

Liverpool are reportedly considering selling Mario Balotelli to a club in the lucrative Chinese Super League.

The controversial striker failed to make an impact after signing for the Reds from AC Milan in the summer of 2014.

Balotelli scored just four goals in 28 appearances for Liverpool last season and was eventually loaned back to Milan, where he has netted twice in 11 games in the 2015-16 campaign.

According to the Liverpool Echo, a handful of clubs in the Far East have enquired about a potential move for Balotelli, while Turkish outfits have also expressed an interest.

The Merseyside club are hopeful of recouping the majority of the £16m fee that they paid to secure Balotelli's signature.
