Real Madrid to launch January bid for Liverpool's Luis Suarez?

Real Madrid will reportedly use the £42.5m received from Arsenal for Mesut Ozil to try to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez or Monaco's Radamel Falcao.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The Spanish giants had been linked with a summer swoop for the controversial forward, who remains a Liverpool player despite publicly seeking pastures new.

Despite Madrid's reported interest, they are believed to have cooled their pursuit of the Uruguay international in order to focus on clinching the world-record signing of Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur.

However, it has been claimed by Marca that Madrid will use the £42.5m received from the sale of Mesut Ozil to Arsenal to try to lure Suarez from Liverpool or sign Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

Liverpool rejected a £40,000,001 bid from Arsenal for Suarez during the summer transfer window.
