Liverpool defender Joel Matip has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Fulham.
Matip arrived at Anfield in 2016 and has gone on to make a total of 64 starts in all competitions, but the 27-year-old is now only considered as fourth-choice centre-back by Jurgen Klopp.
The Cameroon international still has over 18 months remaining on his contract with the Merseyside giants, but according to A Spor, there is interest from both Fulham and Fenerbahce.
The report suggests that the Turkish giants have already identified Matip as a possible arrival for January but that Fulham could be ready to rival them in the transfer market.
The Premier League side have just appointed Claudio Ranieri as their new manager, and it has been suggested that the Italian sees Matip as a major addition to the club's troubled defence.
