Arsene Wenger has reportedly turned down the opportunity to become the new manager of Fulham.
The Cottagers have endured a poor start to the new Premier League campaign and currently sit bottom of the standings, and that has resulted in Claudio Ranieri replacing Slavisa Jokanovic in the dugout.
However, according to The Mirror, Fulham owner Shahid Khan held an interest in Wenger before eventually opting to bring in Ranieri.
The report claims that Wenger was asked whether he would be interested in being appointed as the new boss of the West London outfit, but the Frenchman rejected the club's advances.
Wenger has previously indicated that he will return to management at the start of 2019, although he is against taking charge of another Premier League side due to his long-term association with Arsenal.
