Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has hinted that he has taken the next step towards returning from a serious knee injury.
Laporte has been sidelined since suffering the issue during a Premier League fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of August.
Manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged at the time that the centre-back would be absent until at least 2020 - a prediction which has since proven correct.
However, after a post on social media, it appears that the France international is ready to up his rehabilitation.
The 25-year-old has posted a video in which he is wearing his boots, suggesting that he is now able to take to the training pitch.
As it stands, City hope to have Laporte back at some point in February.
