Manchester City trio to miss Swansea City match

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini reveals that David Silva, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov will miss his team's fixture with Swansea City.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that David Silva will not be available for his side's match with Swansea City tomorrow.

Silva has returned to light training after suffering an ankle injury against Newcastle United last month but he will remain on the sidelines for Saturday's contest at the Etihad Stadium.

Pellegrini has also revealed that Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov will be absent as they continue to recover from injuries picked up before the international break.

City are currently eight points behind leaders Chelsea after a spell of indifferent form during October.
