Mauricio Pochettino: 'We won't change approach to face Manchester City'

Mauricio Pochettino insists that Southampton will not change their approach for the game against Manchester City.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he has no plans to change his team's approach for the game against Manchester City on Saturday.

Pochettino's side travel to the Etihad Stadium with the hosts looking for a victory in their bid to be crowned Premier League champions, but Southampton's players will not be asked to alter their style of play.

"Even if we are going to be facing an amazing side like Manchester City we are still a team that likes to play our game and impose our philosophy," the Argentine told reporters.

"In the time I have been here we have always shown full respect to the opponents but we are never fearful of who we are playing against.

"We always try to be brave no matter who we are playing - we want to dominate the game but we need to be perfect to get something out of this game."

Southampton are currently eighth in the table with six games remaining in their season.
