Manchester City are reportedly lining up a bid for Inter right-back Maicon.
City are keen on the Brazilian international and are willing to offer him wages of around £100,000 a week, according to Goal.com.
Roberto Mancini has tinkered with City's tactical approach in recent weeks, placing an emphasis on attacking wing-backs. Maicon, who worked with Mancini when the Italian was Inter manager, is viewed as someone who could fit into the system.
Maicon was left out of the Inter squad that faced Pescara at the weekend.
