Lionel Messi reportedly met with new Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman on Thursday to discuss his future amid suggestions that the forward could seek pastures new this summer.
Barca finished second behind Real Madrid in the 2019-20 La Liga table and saw their hopes of winning the Champions League ended by Bayern Munich on August 14, suffering an 8-2 defeat to the German giants in the quarter-finals.
Messi's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent days, with the Argentina international thought to be considering a move away from Camp Nou ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Manchester City and Inter Milan have both been linked with the 33-year-old, whose existing deal with the Catalan giants is due to expire next June.
According to Marca, Messi met with his club's new head coach Koeman on Thursday, although it is unclear whether the South American's future was resolved.
Koeman is also allegedly due to meet with Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto amid reports that all three players are now on the transfer list.
