Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Man United vs. PSG

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Champions League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Paris Saint-Germain.

Krasnodar vs. Rennes (Wednesday, 5.55pm)

Two sides whose Champions League dreams have already been dashed will lock horns in the penultimate round of group matches as FC Krasnodar play host to Rennes on Wednesday.

Both teams boast a measly one point from four games in Group E and are in a two-horse race to seal third place and a spot in the Europa League.

We say: FC Krasnodar 2-1 Rennes

Both Krasnodar and Rennes are evidently struggling to cope with the demands of domestic and continental exploits amid a truly unforgiving schedule, and the respective managers may not be so keen to compete in a Europa League tournament which they will certainly not win. However, pride is still on the line this week and both sets of players will want to give their supporters something to cheer about, and while it is sure to be close, we think Krasnodar will finally get off the mark in the group with a slender win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Istanbul vs. RB Leipzig (Wednesday, 5.55pm)

Istanbul Basaksehir host RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday, with the Turkish side needing to win to remain in the competition.

Leipzig, meanwhile, can move level on points with Manchester United at the top of Group H with a victory ahead of their final matchday showdown with the Red Devils.

We say: Istanbul Basaksehir 1-2 RB Leipzig

We can envisage a closely fought match with both teams needing to win to have a realistic chance of progressing to the knockout stages.

However, Nagelsmann's side possess a little more quality, with most of their key players raring to go having not played the full 90 minutes on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Sevilla vs. Chelsea (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Chelsea take on Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Wednesday evening in a shootout for top spot in Champions League Group E.

Both sides have already qualified for the last 16 with two games to go, meaning that all focus is now on securing a favourable tie in the first knockout stage.

We say: Sevilla 1-1 Chelsea

Sevilla and Chelsea may have achieved their aim of reaching the last 16 at the earliest possible opportunity, but both sides will now be keen to secure top spot.

The hosts have won five games in a row, but Chelsea are also in good form and are unbeaten in nine group stage matches in the Champions League, so we are backing a draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Dortmund vs. Lazio (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Borussia Dortmund host Lazio in the Champions League on Wednesday, with the German side assured of qualification to the knockout stages for a third successive season should they avoid defeat.

Lazio, meanwhile, require a win to be certain of competing in the knockout stages for the first time since the 1999-00 campaign, but should Zenit St Petersburg beat Club Brugge in the other match in Group F, both Dortmund and the Italians will progress regardless of their result against each other.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Lazio

We can envisage both sides posing each other problems in offensive areas, but ultimately Dortmund possess the more dangerous attackers and the more reliable defence.

Favre's side should have enough about them to get the job done and qualify as winners of the group, leaving Lazio looking over their shoulders at matters in Brugge.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Brugge vs. Zenit (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Club Brugge play host to Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday evening knowing that victory is required if they wish to qualify for the Champions League last 16.

However, after beating Zenit in Russia on matchday one, Brugge head into this contest aware that a point will be enough to secure Europa League football after Christmas.

We say: Club Brugge 1-2 Zenit St Petersburg

Despite their current position in the group, it remains to be seen how Brugge will react to succumbing so tamely in their double-header with Dortmund. With nothing to lose, we feel that Zenit could rise to the occasion here, recording a result which would give them an edge heading into matchday six.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Juventus vs. Dynamo Kiev (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Juventus host Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday, with the only matters left to resolve in Group G determining whether Barcelona or Juventus progress as winners, and whether Ferencvaros or Dynamo Kiev drop into the Europa League via third place.

The Italian side ran out 2-0 winners in Kiev in the most recent meeting between the two sides in October.

We say: Juventus 2-1 Dynamo Kiev

With Kiev undoubtedly more motivated to gain a result than a Juventus side with league preparations in mind, we can envisage a close encounter in Turin.

However, Pirlo's side will likely feature several fringe players looking to force their way into the Italian's first XI, so they should just about get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Ferencvaros vs. Barcelona (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Ferencvaros will be looking to pull off a monumental shock when they welcome Barcelona to the Puskas Arena for Wednesday's Champions League encounter.

The Hungarian outfit are still without a win in Group G, whereas Barcelona have already secured their place in the last 16 as they sit atop the rankings heading into the penultimate matchweek in the group stage.

We say: Ferencvaros 1-4 Barcelona

Ferencvaros can certainly afford to feel optimistic about their chances of notching up at least one goal against a ravaged Barcelona defence, but the Blaugrana's quality in the final third will certainly show, and the Catalan giants should march to a straightforward victory to maintain their position at the top of Group G before a crunch match with Juventus next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Man Utd vs. PSG (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United are just one point away from sealing their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a game to spare ahead of Wednesday's meeting with last year's runners-up Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils sit top of Group H and know that simply avoiding defeat in one of their final two games will see them through, although on Wednesday they face a PSG side out for revenge and knowing that only a win will really do.

We say: Manchester United 1-2 Paris Saint-Germain

PSG are very close to must-win territory in the Champions League now and will arrive at Old Trafford knowing just how damaging a defeat could be.

Man United may only need a point from their final two games, but those two games come against clubs that made the final and semi-finals respectively last season so it is by no means straightforward from hereon in.

It promises to be a fascinating end to Group H, and we can see PSG coming away from Old Trafford with a crucial victory on Wednesday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
