Antonio Valencia "fine" after injury scare at The Hawthorns

Antonio Valencia takes to Instagram to post a positive update on the injury that forced him off the field during Manchester United's win over West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester United full-back Antonio Valencia has played down concerns of a possible layoff by providing a positive injury update.

The Ecuador international was forced off during the 66th minute of the Red Devils' 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.

Boss Jose Mourinho was unsure about the extent of the damage to the 32-year-old's hamstring when speaking after the match, claiming that it could be "big, small or medium".

United's medical department have yet to comment, but Valencia appears confident that he has avoided any sort of serious injury.

"3 points at a hard stadium. Thanks for your support and concern. I am fine and our @manchesterunited won!," he wrote on his personal Instagram page.

Valencia has made 24 appearances for United this season, seven of which have come in the last 23 days.
