Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has admitted that winning against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday will be "tough".
United will host Andre Villas-Boas's side at Old Trafford, hoping to win their fifth Premier League game in a row.
"We always seem to do well against Tottenham," Rooney told PA Sport. "Hopefully that will continue.
"Tottenham are a good team with great players. We know it will be tough and we will need to be at our best to beat them. The most important thing is the result.
"We would like to play a little bit better and not concede as many goals as we have early in the season. It is something we have been working on. Hopefully it will happen for us."
United are currently second in the league table with 12 points from five matches, just a point behind leaders Chelsea.
