Manchester United have confirmed that Alexis Sanchez has been given permission to link up with the rest of the squad in the United States.
Sanchez was a notable absentee when United flew across the pond earlier this week, with the Chilean being required to resolve issues regarding his visa.
However, Sanchez hinted that progress had been made with a post on social media earlier on Thursday, and United have now acknowledged that the January signing is free to join his teammates.
The 29-year-old will not be available for United's clash with Club America, but the attacker will play a part during the remainder of the tour.
United face San Jose Earthquakes, AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid, with the final match of the tour taking place at the start of August.
