Arsenal have reportedly turned their focus to Reims defender Axel Disasi as a cheaper alternative to RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.
The Gunners are among a number of clubs to have been credited with an interest in Upamecano, along with the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Leipzig will not let the France Under-21s international leave for cheap, though, and Goal reports that Arsenal have started looking for alternative targets.
Disasi, who has one year to run on his existing contract, is said to be one of those being eyed up by Mikel Arteta after impressing in Ligue 1 this term.
The 22-year-old could be available for a far more reasonable £13m, it is claimed, though Arsenal may face competition from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
