Barcelona allegedly withdraw their interest in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, who has been linked with several top European clubs.

Barcelona have allegedly ended their pursuit of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

Since moving to San Siro in 2017, Skriniar has established himself as one of the most highly-regarded centre-backs in European football.

While the Slovakia international has frequently reiterated his commitment to the Italian giants, it has not quietened speculation regarding his future.

However, according to reports in Spain, one club - Barcelona - have opted to withdraw their interest in the player.

The Catalan giants would likely have to make sales before putting together a big-money approach for the 24-year-old, while Inter have little desire to part ways with one of their most prized assets.

Manchester United and Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of the summer window.
