Dayot Upamecano is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract with RB Leipzig, despite speculation that he has agreed terms with Bayern Munich.
The 21-year-old is thought to be coveted by a number of Europe's top clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Reports earlier this week suggested that Bayern had won the race for the in-demand centre-back's signature, but Sky Sports News claims that he could instead pen fresh terms at Leipzig.
The deal would reportedly see Upamecano commit to Leipzig until 2022 and stay at the club for at least the 2020-21 season before a new release clause kicks in.
The France Under-21 international is currently thought to have a release clause of £52m in his contract.
Upamecano has made 29 appearances for Leipzig across all competitions this season.
