Harry Maguire has passed his medical with Manchester United ahead of completing a world-record move from Leicester City.
The England international centre-half had been the top transfer target for Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during this window, with the two clubs agreeing an £80m fee last Friday that surpasses the £75m Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil Van Dijk in January 2018.
The Sheffield United academy product made 69 Premier League appearances for the Foxes since joining the club from Hull City in June 2017.
Sky Sports News report that the 26-year-old is likely to be unveiled later today after agreeing personal terms and meeting his prospective new teammates over the weekend.
Maguire is now likely to make his United debut in the club's season-opener on Sunday against Chelsea at Old Trafford.
