Javier Hernandez on brink of Real Madrid move?

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is close to joining Real Madrid, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly close to joining Real Madrid on a season-long loan.

The Mexico international is firmly behind Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in the pecking order at the club, and he is understood to be keen to move away from Old Trafford.

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that Hernandez is on the brink of a switch to the La Liga giants, with just the player's wages left to be agreed ahead of a switch.

The transfer window closes on Monday at 11pm.
