Inter Milan will reportedly pursue midfield duo Ivan Rakitic and Nemanja Matic over the January transfer window.
Rakitic has become surplus to requirements at Barcelona, making only one La Liga start so far this season following the arrival of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.
Matic, whose contract expires at the end of this season, has also lost his starting place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
According to Calcio Mercato, Conte has instructed Inter to make a bid for the pair when the January window opens.
It is claimed that the Italian, who moved to San Siro over the summer, wants to install two experienced heads in midfield as a response to his side conceding too many goals so far this season.
