Liverpool are reportedly close to edging out Manchester United to the signing of young Polish goalkeeper Kamil Garbara.
The Merseyside outfit have been linked with Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, but manager Jurgen Klopp has rejected suggestions that the club are in the market for a new senior keeper.
While Simon Mignolet's position in the first team seems secure for the time being, the club are believed to be close to adding 16-year-old Grabara to their academy.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the youngster is expected to travel to Merseyside this week to discuss a deal and possibly undergo a medical.
United and neighbours Manchester City are reported to have expressed an interest in the goalkeeper.
