Mason Greenwood's teammates at Manchester United support the possibility of his return to the squad this summer, according to a report.
The 22-year-old was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour back in October 2022, but the case was dropped in February 2023 following the withdrawal of key witnesses.
Greenwood was excluded from United's lineup while his case was under investigation by the Crown Prosecution Service and went on to endure over 18 months without participating in competitive football.
Following the withdrawal of charges, the Red Devils conducted their own investigation and took the decision that Greenwood should pursue his career elsewhere away from Old Trafford.
As a result, the England international was sent on loan to La Liga outfit Getafe at the start of the 2023-24 season.

According to a report from The Sun, Greenwood's Man United teammates have now expressed their support for his potential return in a secret poll, with many players in the dressing room believed to be 'not against him returning to Old Trafford'.
The report adds that a reliable source allegedly told the newspaper: "His teammates would not be against him returning to Old Trafford. They know all about the background and understand how controversial it would be to have him back.
"Their decision is a footballing one, pure and simple. United have struggled to score goals this season and they need a player like Mason.

In addition, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new minority owner of the Red Devils, has left open the possibility of a return for Greenwood from his loan in La Liga, acknowledging that a definitive decision regarding his future has yet to be made.
However, the prospect of Greenwood's return comes with the risk of potentially triggering internal discord, particularly from the women's team, who are believed to be against the notion.
The forward has contributed eight goals and five assists for Getafe this season and is understood to be settled in Madrid with his partner and daughter.
Greenwood's last appearance for Man United dates back to January 2022, and his sole senior international cap came in September 2020 against Iceland in the Nations League.
While England manager Gareth Southgate has not dismissed a potential international comeback for Greenwood in the future, he has confirmed that the 22-year-old will not be part of the squad for the upcoming European Championships in Germany.
