Manchester United to replace David de Gea with Hugo Lloris?

Manchester United will offer £30m for Hugo Lloris if David de Gea joins Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.

Louis van Gaal is ready to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris, if David de Gea elects to leave Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

Lloris, 28, has impressed at White Hart Lane since joining Spurs from Lyon in 2012 for £10m, while de Gea, 24, was recently selected in the Premier League Team of the Year.

However, the Red Devils goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with van Gaal now cleared to spend £30m on Lloris if de Gea returns to Spain, reports the Daily Star.

De Gea joined Manchester United from Real's city rivals Atletico Madrid in 2011, and has made well over 100 appearances for the Old Trafford club.
