Jose Mourinho has reportedly personally contacted Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier over a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Meunier is into the final three months of his contract at the Parc des Princes and, as things stand, will be available on a free transfer when that deal expires on June 30.
The knock-on effects caused by the coronavirus pandemic mean that PSG could look to extend Meunier's stay until the end of the season, whenever that may be, but the Belgian's future beyond that looks increasingly likely to lie away from the French capital.
L'Equipe reports that Mourinho has called the 28-year-old in an attempt to convince him to join Spurs, who are in the market for a new right-back due to reservations over Serge Aurier.
Meunier has been with PSG since 2016, making 128 appearances for the club across all competitions including 27 this season.
The likes of Manchester United and Inter Milan have also been linked with his signature when the window reopens.
