Napoli: 'No offers made for Kalidou Koulibaly'

Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli says that the Italian outfit are yet to receive any offers for centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has revealed that Napoli are yet to receive any offers for centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

Given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandmeic and a failure to qualify for next season's Champions League, Napoli are open to parting ways with the Senegal international.

However, despite alleged interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool, Giuntoli has suggested that the Premier League giants are yet to make their move.

Speaking to DAZN, Giuntoli said: "At this moment, we haven't received any offers. Koulibaly had important offers in the past and a great deal of interest, but we are in no rush to make decisions."

While Napoli are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £80m, it remains to be seen whether they will realistically be able to attract such an offer in the current global climate.

The centre-back still has three years remaining on his contract.
