Claudio Ranieri: Riyad Mahrez "happy" at Leicester City

Reported Manchester United transfer target Riyad Mahrez is "happy" at Leicester City, according to manager Claudio Ranieri.

Claudio Ranieri has insisted that Riyad Mahrez is "happy" at Leicester City.

The Algerian winger was recently linked with a move to Manchester United, while the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest.

However, despite those reports, Ranieri has claimed that the 24-year-old will remain at the King Power Stadium.

"[The speculation is] good because it means we have very good players. It's only speculation, he's happy with us. We want to grow up and he will stay with us," the Leicester boss told reporters.

Mahrez has scored seven goals in 10 Premier League matches this term.
