Thomas Muller: 'I'm staying at Bayern Munich'

Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller insists that he will remain with the German champions this summer.

Thomas Muller has played down suggestions that he could leave Bayern Munich this summer.

The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, with the Premier League club's head coach Louis van Gaal sharing a close relationship with the German international.

Muller has revealed that he is flattered to be linked with other clubs, but has insisted that he is staying with the German champions.

"When a transfer request comes in, you automatically deal with it," Muller told Bild. "A request from another big club is an honour and a telling reward that one's performances are good.

"But I feel good at Bayern and my deal runs until 2019. It's better to ignore speculation."

Muller has been with Bayern since 2000, but it has been claimed that the attacker's relationship with current coach Pep Guardiola is strained.
