Manchester United reportedly have a kitty of £300m set aside for next summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils spent big on Premier League defenders Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka during the recent transfer window, while attacker Daniel James also arrived from Swansea City.
United have made their worst start to a top-flight campaign since 1989-90, though, and a number of players are currently being linked with January moves to Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mail, while the club will attempt to make signings at the start of 2020, a kitty of £300m has been set aside for new players at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The report claims that Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Leicester City's James Maddison are both targets, while Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is also being monitored ahead of a potential swoop.
The 20-time English champions are also allegedly considering a big-money offer for Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly despite recently breaking the transfer record for a centre-back to sign Maguire from Leicester City.
