New two-year Millwall contract for Lee Martin

Millwall announce that Lee Martin has signed a new two-year deal at The Den.

Lee Martin has signed a new two-year contract with Millwall, the South London club have announced.

The 27-year-old's previous deal at The Den was due to expire later this month, but the former Manchester United man has now signed on until the end of the 2015-16 season.

"I saw signs towards the end of last season that Lee could become the player Manchester United thought he might be," Lions boss Ian Holloway told the club website.

"I'm looking forward to working with him again next season because I think we will see even more from him."

Martin, a winger, joined Millwall from Ipswich Town a year ago, going on to make 26 league appearances and score one goal last season.

He joins David Forde in signing a new deal at The Den this summer.
