Half-Time Report: Morecambe, Stevenage goalless at the break

Morecambe and Stevenage play out a goalless first half, with the home side missing a penalty.

Neither Morecambe nor Stevenage were able to find the breakthrough in a goalless first half at the Globe Arena.

Morecambe were afforded a great chance to take the lead when they were awarded a penalty after Darius Charles committed a foul inside the area on 15 minutes.

However, Jack Redshaw spurned the opportunity by crashing the resulting spot kick against the crossbar.

Alan Goodall then went close with a left-footed effort moments after he had headed a chance wide.
