Newcastle United striker Leon Best is understood to be interested in a move to Blackburn Rovers.
The 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Sports Direct Arena, despite a promising start to last season.
Rovers could now offer up to £3m for Best as they look to gain promotion at the first attempt from the Championship, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.
The Lancashire club are also believed to have offered a number of financial incentives to the forward.
Best joined the Magpies from Coventry City in February 2010 for an undisclosed fee.
