Neil Adams: 'Norwich City will fight to keep players'

Norwich City manager Neil Adams insists that the club will fight "tooth and nail" to keep players at Carrow Road this summer.

Neil Adams has said that Norwich City will "fight tooth and nail" to keep hold of their players when their relegation from the Premier League is confirmed.

The Canaries are just three points behind West Bromwich Albion, but have a worse goal difference by 17 heading into their final game of the season against Arsenal.

The interim manager told reporters: "After the Arsenal [game] we need to sit down and decide on my future. Absolutely I would like to be manager. I feel suited to it. I've made the step up to first-team football now, and it's not a level you want to take a step back from.

"I hope we can hang onto our key players. It's really important for next year. We have to fight tooth and nail to keep them. I've really enjoyed the job, but what I haven't enjoyed is the situation we're in. It hurts."

The club were promoted to the Premier League in 2011.
