AC Milan are reportedly considering a surprise offer for Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash.
Having been converted from a wide midfielder to a full-back, Cash has established himself as one of the Championship side's key men.
The 22-year-old has contributed two goals and four assists this season, helping the East Midlands outfit into the promotion race.
According to The Athletic, Cash's form has led to interest from Milan, who are contemplating a £15m bid before the end of the month.
As it stands, Forest are likely to keep hold of arguably their most prized asset, unless the Italian giants are prepared to make a higher offer.
Cash, who is also said to be a target for Southampton, still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
