Half-Time Report: Ravel Morrison fires Queens Park Rangers ahead

Ravel Morrison's goal gives Queens Park Rangers the lead over Yeovil Town at the interval.

Queens Park Rangers lead Yeovil Town at the interval courtesy of a Ravel Morrison goal.

The first opportunity of the match fell to the visitors, as Luke Ayling curled an effort narrowly wide of the upright with Robert Green left rooted to the spot.

QPR grew into the contest more as it progressed, and it showed on 25 minutes when Morrison struck home from the edge of the box to give his side the lead.

Yeovil had a shout for a penalty turned down before half time as Joe Edwards went down under pressure from Nedum Onuhoha, but the referee saw nothing wrong with the challenge.
