Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with veteran defender Ryan Nelsen on a one-year deal.
The 34-year-old has admitted that his previous experience of working alongside manager Mark Hughes was a major factor behind his decision to sign on at Loftus Road.
"I am really pleased to be joining QPR," he told the club's official website. "I have obviously got a lot of history with the manager and that was a massive draw for me.
"I like his winning attitude. He and all his staff just have an absolute desire to win, and that's what the Premier League is all about.
"If you haven't got that, you won't be successful."
The New Zealand international will officially become a QPR player on July 1.
