Reading forward Sone Aluko has reportedly moved to the brink of sealing a transfer to Beijing Renhe.
Aluko - who has represented seven different clubs in British football - has endured a difficult time at the Madejski Stadium with just four goals being scored from 58 appearances in the Championship since a £7.5m move in 2017.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old looks likely to complete a switch to China with Beijing Renhe keen to push through a deal.
The report claims that Aluko has already travelled to Asia to finalise the switch ahead of Renhe's first Chinese Super League fixture of the season next month.
Aluko joins Tyias Browning in making a surprise transfer to the division, with the Everton defender having linked up with Guangzhou Evergrande earlier this week.
