Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly decided to keep Zinedine Zidane as manager for the 2016-17 campaign.
Despite only taking control of first-team affairs in January, it had been claimed that Zidane could be relieved of his duties at the end of the season as Perez targeted an experienced boss.
However, according to AS, Perez has now decided to keep Zidane after seeing the Frenchman lead the team back into the La Liga title race and also into the Champions League final.
Real Madrid remain in third position in La Liga, but they are just one point behind the leaders Barcelona ahead of the penultimate round of fixtures in Spain's top flight.
