Team News: Leaders Real Madrid unchanged for trip to Elche

Carlo Ancelotti names an unchanged side as Real Madrid look to extend their lead at the top of the table against Elche.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has named an unchanged side for the La Liga clash with Elche.

The Italian chooses to keep faith with the same team that started the 2-0 victory over Schalke 04 in midweek, which means that Lucas Silva once again starts alongside Toni Kroos in the centre of midfield.

Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema lead the attack for the visitors, while Raphael Varane and Pepe continue their partnership at the back as Real look to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points.

Elche, who come into the game looking for a third successive league win, are also unchanged as Fran Escriba looks to lead his side further away from the relegation zone.

Elche: Tyton, Damian, Roco, Lomban, Albacar, Niguez, Pasalic, Adrian, Victor, Fajr, Jonathas

Real Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Pepe, Varane, Marcelo; Silva, Kroos, Isco; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo
